Systems over screens
I don't design isolated screens. I map how the pieces connect — flows, states, dependencies — before touching high-fidelity.
I design at the intersection of clarity, behavior, and code. Turning complexity into experiences that just work.

I don't design isolated screens. I map how the pieces connect — flows, states, dependencies — before touching high-fidelity.
Some of my most demanding work has no visual layer at all. Conversational products taught me that clarity of language is as critical as clarity of layout.
Less navigation, fewer steps, simpler language. Good design removes what doesn't need to be there, without losing what makes the experience feel considered.
Technical limitations, operational dependencies, and organizational resistance are all part of the design problem, not obstacles to the design solution.
About
I'm Armando, a Product Designer based in Mexico.
I ask a lot of questions before opening Figma. Especially when the problem sits where users, operations, and technology pull in different directions.
That's the kind of work I've been doing at Liverpool, designing their billing portal, a sales tool for call center agents, and a WhatsApp customer service channel where language is the primary design material. Before that, at Ilum, I shipped across fintech, logistics SaaS, healthtech, and consumer apps.
What drives me is the distance between how hard something is to build and how effortless it should feel to use. In a past life I wrote code — and it shows.
